HOW TO CARE: ALUMINIUM

Aluminium is a lightweight, durable material known for its malleability and high strength-to-weight ratio. In our MORTAR collections, we use untreated aluminium to highlight its natural qualities, which often result in unique surface imperfections. Moreover, aluminium is sustainable, as it can be recycled indefinitely.

MAINTENANCE & CLEANING

Use plain water or a mild soap/detergent for cleaning. After cleaning, rinse the aluminium thoroughly and dry with a soft cloth to prevent streaks. Pay special attention to removing any traces of cleaner from edges and rivets. Keep in mind that leaving liquid on the surface may cause stains.

PLEASE NOTE:

Natural materials, including untreated aluminium, will develop a characteristic patina over time, adding individuality to each piece.

HOW TO CARE: PAINTED STEEL

Wipe the surface with a clean cloth dampened with water or a mild solution of water and neutral detergent. To prevent residue buildup, immediately follow with a clean, dry cloth to remove any soap. Avoid using scouring creams or pads, as they may scratch the surface. Do not use solvents or chemical cleaners, as they can damage the coating. Additionally, refrain from using acetic or citric acid, as these can have adverse effects on the finish.
